He said to the Beauty on the screen.
The FB picture of a woman
He fell for after a small research
And a few clicks.
She had 1K friends
But she also declared her love for him.
Kindred souls they were.
Truly.
But their love would remain
On the screen
Separated as they were
By an ocean
A different culture
And severely different values.

There are those relationships that grow flowers in the cracks of city streets.
And there are those that grow as bonsai, high on the sides of mountain tops because they unwisely fall into that phantom zone between the dawn of civilization and the sunset of humankind.

in the age of technology, love is being re-defined somewhat. We hear of horror stories (or what folks are calling cat-fishing) throughout this virtual phase. I think the idea of being in love with an ideal person for what they present themselves online is different than in real life. Then again, to each's own.
