Playing for Keeps

My imagination flowed too far,
but not enough to lose restraint.
Press me down under your palm.
I am excited I appear calm.
I'm nervous I want to shake.
I stare and my mind exclaims;
The things I can not say, won't hear, I'm too afraid.
Fear seeping into me telling me I'm not enough.
I'm not what you are looking for.
Turn me over take me another way.
More of the same.
Insecurities, you are so much and I am so little.
I cannot keep what I can not entertain.
I cannot hold the attention of the unrestrained.
Roughly,forcefully, blocking out thoughts lost in sensation. Relief release.
The mind creeps, don't hope, don't want, don't dream.
He won't keep you.
