Hallowed be thy Name
There is
Only one
What we can call
A religion
That gives us
What we need
Without this
WE cannot survive
And Yet
WE discard it
For statues and twisted myths
For promises
Of broken dreams
And yet we continue
To follow
Like children
The siren call
Of the pied pipers
Ignoring
The only thing
That gives us
Everything we need
And when there is change
People freak out
The warning signs were given
But adapt doesn't come to mind
And people die
There is
Only one
What we can call
A religion
Gaia
Only one
What we can call
A religion
That gives us
What we need
Without this
WE cannot survive
And Yet
WE discard it
For statues and twisted myths
For promises
Of broken dreams
And yet we continue
To follow
Like children
The siren call
Of the pied pipers
Ignoring
The only thing
That gives us
Everything we need
And when there is change
People freak out
The warning signs were given
But adapt doesn't come to mind
And people die
There is
Only one
What we can call
A religion
Gaia
