as summer breezes blow in
from the sea onto the shore
with tantalizing promises
that there'll be many more
 
times we are transported
to an extrasensory
state of mind perceiving
the extra-ordinary

quiet noise of candlelight
flickering in the night
elevating consciousness
becoming inner light
 
illuminating waking up
in a world unseen
from the ordinary,
from what's always seemed

reverberating endlessly
vibrating on and on
sensing that forever
is where we each belong
 
knowing we're mere molecules
reforming as we race
synchronized and held in
the nearest star's embrace...
