Three Wishes
Before I die
I'd like to meet a ghost
to learn for certain
what's on the other side
Wouldn't it be cool
to shake hands with a ghoul
to chat about the weather
maybe take some tea together
Wouldn't it be nice
to get some other world advice
Before I die
I'd like to watch a saucer
land in my back yard
greet some little green men
exchange a calling card
I'd pose for photos with their UFO
like long lost friends
Wouldn't it be nice
to get some other world advice
Before I die
I'd like to find my soulmate
the girl I never knew
just to say how are you
were you thinking of me too
I'd ask her for one dance
and if I got the chance
we'd fly away to heaven
without a second glance

Dammit I relate to this poem. I love this.
The final stanza is the one that resonated loudest. But damn I'd love to chat to the ghosts & aliens too.

Don't panic, the plagos have always been sniffing our bums, Reverend.
I stifle a smile every once in a while
when it falls from the poet tree
the oldest chestnut in the universe,
they grab our balls and lick them
just because it's free.
But far more importantly, I hate to hear you're losing all those zzz's.
