tHe GirL aNd ThE BeaR
Once there was a pretty girl
With hair as bright as the day
Her eyes were like the moon above
And sunshine spilled from her face
She went to a forest to find
Flowers to put in her headwear
But on the way it started to rain
This poor little one became wet
After sometime her pet bear worried
She hadn’t returned when she said she would
He went out into the darkness out there
If she was lost, then he would be too
And bring her home
And carry her back tonight
She found a little tree
The only shelter she had
Picking mushrooms and wild berries
Her only food, but she was glad
Her bear had stumbled through
Thickets and thorns in the night
He almost gave up on this search
But found her red cloth, like her light
A wolfpack had gathered around
Her humble little tree
Then out of the dark came a big -Growl!
And scattered them all, it was he
And held her in his arms
That night
And brought her back home
And carried her in his arms
That n-i-g-h-t
With hair as bright as the day
Her eyes were like the moon above
