Neutrality

Isn't it funny that man searches for a better more peaceful place to live
When it's man that wars and takes abusingly all that this planet gives
Isn't it funny how we drain this planet and continue to laugh
How we take all for ourselves after promising each other half

Given a gift that only should comes in second to one
The love that we should share for each other is where it all begun
To take nothing and explode it into an infinite number of pieces
With life continuing to be formed from the energy it releases

Charged particles bonded together is no more than what we are
Some are positive, some negative, but neutrality reigns by far
To many that refuse to take a stance, although they see life's wrongs
With a collective voice, they sing the same old songs

What happens over there is their business, why should I get involved
But before you know it the problem is right next door and has yet to be solved
No one neutral thinks of the shootings when it's just among them
The news said gang related, so let them sing their own hymn

They refuse to take a stance on the drugs everywhere
That's until someone in their immediate family enters rehab for care
It takes action to make these neutral particles react
Otherwise they may as well be negative, taking and never giving back

Some of us would rather stand in the corner of life
Watching as our planet is goes under the knife
Turnt to the wall, dunce hat pulled down low
From the hole in the atmosphere to drilling more in the oceans floor

We've swiss cheesed this planet, negative energies running a race
Placing value in diamonds and gold, when the greatest value should be each other's face
Hello how are you, it truly nice to meet you
I'm doing fine and it's nice to meet you too

Could you imagine all of that positive energy flowing around this planet
The negative particles would be reduced and in their hearts they couldn't stand it
They would vow from every platform, that yes they will rise again
They would disperse around the planet attempting to recruit more neutrals in

But with positive energy in abundance, the planet has started healing itself
Man has ended the destruction in search of fame and wealth
Reuniting on a cosmic level when we were all one self
Man has learned to take care of his home, because there is nowheres else
