PLAYING THE VICTIM
They are the proverbial victim.
In their eyes, that is.
They will spend a lifetime
shouting how they were done wrong,
how you abused them,
how you did this, how you did that.
But did you notice
that everything they claim
that you did to them
is exactly what they did to you?
It's called Projection.
But they will never ever admit
they were wrong about anything,
and will go to the grave
still crying they were the victim.
Narcissists will shout
at the top of their lungs
that they are the poor victim
who was abused and betrayed by you.
They will present supposed "evidence"
that "proves" this theory.
But of course, it's all a lie
because what they think is their truth
is actually your truth.
They just twist the truth to fit their theory.
They play the victim card so well,
they should carry their own piece of chalk!

This is what you need to be careful with these people can not be trusted they will turn against you at any time.
This is my husband and living with him is a nightmare he has been abusive in the past he's also very controlling.
Iv tried to get away a few times but stupid me keeps coming back.
So if you find a narcissists please don't do what I'm doing get away and stay away because they will never change no matter how many time they say they will.

When you feel like walking or running away is not possible, you must speak.
Speak to someone you trust. If you can, speak to the the authorities.
If you don't trust anyone, including yourself, lean on your faith to guide you.
If you don't have faith, continue to speak through your writing until you gain the strength to gain trust in yourself.
Practice walking away in your mind so that when the time comes, you are ready.
That includes not putting the shoes back on to run back.
