Into the Mountains

cloudless dome with Sun
shining like a being who
is glad that we have come

into the mountains far away
from where we were before
taking time to come and play
escaping from the war

of who we think we are and who
we think that we must be
designating me and you
within society...

under heaven on the Earth
paradise surrounds
all of life here giving birth
to all the living sounds

streams that babble, gush and rush
wind among the trees
in the forest's mystic hush
peaceful falling leaves

sloping trails which disappear
beyond where we can see
feeling that we're very near
blissful you and me...
