NATO is the RESTRAINER (2nd Thess.2.6-7)

NATO is supplying arms, training, etc to UKRAINE.
 Which has enabled Ukraine to keep going, to keep fighting back.
 So we can say NATO has been RESTRAINING Russia !!
Or keeping it from running over Ukraine !!
So NATO is a Restrainer.
 So the question arises:
Could NATO be THE Restrainer predicted by Paul the apostle (2 Thessalonians 2.6-7).
There are 2 periods of the Restrainer:
(1)the early version back in Paul's day.
 This would = the Roman empire holding back barbarian tribes in Eastern Europe.
 They were pushing westward.
 (2)the Restrainer in the endtime, namely NATO !!
 NATO was created in 1949 for one purpose only:
 to hold back the Soviet Union.
Joe Stalin wanted to invade the West.
It was NATO that deterred Stalin.
 So there is NO WAY you can deny that NATO is a legitimate candidate for the role of the RESTRAINER.
 Next, we read that it will be taken out of the way(2 Thess.2.6-7).
 Does this mean BY Russia, by Russian Attack ??
Well, it does say that at that very same time,
"THEN shall that WICKED ONE be revealed"(verse 8).
  "Revealed" as what??
Revealed as "the Son of Destruction"(verse 3),
 in other words as "the DESTROYER" !!
So the implication is that the Destroyer will unload his WMD("weapons of mass destruction")
 upon NATO nations, including the USA !! So this issue as to the identity of "the Restrainer" is super IMPORTANT !!
