I agree 100%. Though there's something about that last line that bothers me. (for) the love of money. I don't know why. I don't know how to explain it. But, anyway.

could it be the syllable count in that line, that causes a tremor?

Too true, though greed refuses banishment, and if it can be paired with ambition, it might actually have beneficial uses.
