Speaking of teams.. The Tampa Bay Lightning won the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs (they're going for a third straight Stanley Cup win!) last night against the Toronto Maple Leaves, in game freaking 7!!! It was a total nail bitter up to the very end. Now we go on the play the Florida Panthers, which have been the bane of The Tampa Bay Lightning's existence, for the whole regular season because that team has been so good! It's going to be a wild series against them.... I'll keep you posted!! 🤞🏻

I do love dawn. Coffee. The embers still warm from the previous night's ritual.

But, sunset. Relinquishing the light. Darkness by design.  The green of morning awaiting the purple of night.

Cold coffee. The last of yesterday. A shoulder. A neck. The end of all horizons.  Sunset. On purpose.

*I'm gonna scooch in there.. climb on up and watch the sun set... I swear I can almost 'hear' the moment it dips past the skyline ....   ;)  
 
I love them both,... it's often sunrise for me as well. .. However, I absolutely LOVE those orangie pink moments Florida has in the evening... they sometimes will turn to this rich purple before darkness takes over... I guess I'm a sucker for that... and of course.. the neck and shoulder , too!!

Marshmallows....sticky lips and fingers...

The crisp outside, that hot, melted gooeyness....licking the stick and taking on another...dropping it in the fire and watching it madly burn into volcanic ash....

Talking all night about God, the universe, and other related subjects...dawn, the beach, breakfast, sleeplessness...coffee...a shower....a nap that lasts until evening....exhausted in the best possible ways...

Sticky neck....and sunburned shoulders...

The beauty of watching a sunset or sunrise with you.  Keep on writing you strong beautiful smart sexy woman.   You got my vote.

There's so much natural beauty to wash over the senses, twilight's ability to capture an ethereal moment, being a total fav. Thanks for your always faithful readership and the sweet invitation Francisco...

Kinda cool reading this after watching the eclipse show several minutes ago.   Coincidence perhaps, but ironic in the fate of it.  They fit together well.  

If you're still aspiring to be a good poet, you can rest.  Because you're there.

to encapsulate the convergences of chaos and order...

This piece delves so deeply through
the surface and into the depths...

Capturing both these aspects...

Creating such a cool effect of movement...

What I always enjoy about these comps is that for the same visual, all poets have a different interpretation, some more in depth than others. You have an excellent vocabulary which weaves amazing creations. Thoroughly enjoyed this piece.
