the sheep are bleating.
Their eyes bleed
from watching way
too much T.V.
can't believe a word
they say, they're just
repeating what they
heard on the news
this evening.
Question everything
don't fall neatly in line.

I always like to get two perspectives. Right now debate always seems to
lead to fighting. People who groupthink. Being able to agree to disagree seems
like a thing of the past. Great write Nik:)

People can't even have a conversation of opposing opinions without getting in a huff.

Yes, I've seen the movie. Apparently not many others have.
Sad how people refuse to think for themselves they rely on the laughable "fact checkers" or their TV. Repeating and repeating and repeating

Hello Nikki,
After reading your poem it reminds me an old saying that once you repeat the lie so much that it seems and believed to be truth. The corporate world is world of clones where we are expected to be controlled and trained to have mass behaviour. We are in an organized world with organized crime. The individuality is thing of the past. That is why I am not right fit in the society to survive. But I wont give up my identity.

Be you. Don't conform to an uncomfortable norm for the sake of the many. They do as their told and try to be thought police to anyone who may share a different view.

It's become so convoluted, it's difficult to discern truth from lies, half lies, half truths and some poison thrown in there to send some down the rabbit hole.

Quite so. You certainly need to get many various sources. Not just FOX ''NEWS''. PS: with people such as Kavanaugh on SCOTUS I really fear for the future of the US
