Reconnected

 

we were kids back then
Thinking we Knew everything
Going though Life
we created memories
learned aboud each other
Only to realize its not right
Moving on and growing old
Time can be a great thing
It can also be painful
In our case it was both
we grew up to pe adults
Able tO learn about ourselves
We went rough things we never thought
pushing us to the limit
Over coming them alone
Only to be surprised
Time letting two reconnect
Strangers due to growing up
Yet familiar and safe
Only time will tell
what happens next.
