Sunlight fades, as we begin
open arms, to let you in
Eyes alight, in flames of blue
my kiss to say, I want you
Moonlight glows upon your face
your lips to mine, as we embrace
Falling now, to a bed in white
take me in and be my night
Such passionate hunger, we feed
upon each other's inner need
To feel the power within our hearts
of this is love and this is ours
I touch your heart, to kiss your soul
I give you me, I give it all
Caressing your hair, I smell your skin
Knowing this will never end
As we entangle ourselves together
for the warmth, for the ever
You stare into my flames of blue
My eyes on fire, from wanting you
In this chaos that is our night
you my lover, you're my light
Held in secret, as shadows swarm
embrace this moment,
for it is warm.

Do you know how hard it is to find a rhyme with "warm"? I had to sacrifice three kittens to the word-gods for them to send me guidance!
Not really. They lived. I only held them over my lighter and chanted stuff.

Nope. No way. My cat is not allowed to sleep with me. Night time is her spazz time (like most cats. She was a rescue off the streets. Lol)
She sleeps all day while I work! She's probably in her teenager years...

I was trying hard for that balance. Meter-rhyme-make sense, etc. I don't do rhymes much anymore. So I felt it was time.
