A seraph
I knew as soon as she entered the room
she was unlike anyone I had met before.
She sat down, began some embroidery
a silk dress for a delightful nuptial.
We kissed at the entrance of the door
to hell, the ground was white as snow
her eyes, bottomless green, flickered
in a snake-like desire.
We had been caught in the glare of
unbecoming lust, we ran to the bus
shelter.
Silent rain, she wanted me to take
the late bus heavenward.
The lift was out of order, her face
a was a miasma of the unmembered.
