Inductive, Deductive Equanimity
Once I was bitter, & trapped
garbage, an insurmountable heap
sucking in mud (was it really mud?)
while scaling over the troubling pile.
Vision clouded
caught in the mouse trap
come to SEE after college
challenged me
Thinking outside the snare of
conformity I skipped out of
the self-replicating rat trap.
Yet my upbringing
religious anchor
moored me to non-logical thought
until the day I met a Buddhist monk
and dared to think for myself.
