Dear Self (Something I dug up from 3 years ago)

                               Dear Self
     If I could just go back in time, I’d tell my past self everything would be fine.
The worries then are only what made the memories that occasionally reelect in my mind.
As it seems most anything from way back when seems so far away, good and bad days.
Dear self as a child, this feels like a long, painful mile.
One fine day, the feeling of guilt will fade away.
You may feel like a burden on the world for now, but soon enough your confidence will be found.
Dear self as a beginning adolescent, the problems occurring now soon won’t even be worth two cents.
You’ve gotten through obstacles that seemed terrible.
Once it’s been done, you’ll see how that outcome of success was bearable.
Dear self of a lost age, this isn’t going to be an easy phase.
As much as you believe you truly will never get over him, you eventually will.
Love can only heal and kill.
Keep hoping and dreaming it has already helped you grow even stronger.
The pain won’t feel like it’s lasting any longer.
Dear self from two years ago, you hard work will show.
You’ve achieved your highest.
The intimidation will soon feel the lightest.
The lost dark path you’re traveling down as of now will end as you adapt to getting around.
Dear self from what’s been a year, have no fear.
Hang on tight and whip away those desperate tears.
Someone will hear your call as they heal the wound from that vicious fall.
Dear self in a time dire straight, this is not time you should waste.
You’re young, you’re growing.
The window is the place opportunities are going.
He’ll make it on his own.
His needs and troubles are not yours to handle.
The future is not set in stone.
Sympathy does not equal a feeling of love.
Please stop trying to convince yourself he’s the one, your angel sent from above.
Dear self of the present all the trouble has been your energy, hasn’t it?
You will have more, but may it only bring you the ability to excel, understand, and adore.
