Image for the poem Unlayering

"No" can be yet another portal
To the Divine
Holding up 2 fingers
Like a peace sign
An offer of acceptance
An ask of consent
Peace be my heart
To be your heart too
Because I love you
The you that you are
For now & for all nows

The crossroads all end up
Leading to home
Wherever you are
A home home home
Lay down your sword
Whatever you think you are
A dream, a feeling, a wish, a-
A home

Come playful to the meadows
Dance and sing along side
The clouds, the Earth, the breeze
And with the birds who cry out
Wild- scream and shout

Swaying in the meadows be free
Lay down beside burnt trees
Flowers & bees
Profound unlayering & release
Slow down to a freeze
And there dying

Within the wind all emotions
Move as an ocean of silent devotion
Dancing with the Nothing
And that very dance
In its rhythm and sound,
Resonance of potential,
Waves of movement,
& moment
Rest now once again
As the All That Is
As the Nothing
