If I told You that I’ll love You forever
because I am not physically
eternal then either I’d be lying
or merely playing a game –
Right?
 
Is it all a game, anyways,
this interaction lovers  
fribble at?
 
In and out
breaking hearts
on a rebound
making up
from an inside
& outside it all looks to be a
silly confusing game.
 
I want to say, “ I love You for now.”
The present sounds a lot better
than both of us trying to inhale
the same exhale we shared
with one another.
 
Closeness requires no
acts, plays or moves
just honesty
