of steady work
of opportunity
of stability

taking the oath
to defend

the
constitution

they send them
to foreign lands

to fight and die
(or survive and suffer)

for businesses with no objective
but the bottom line

sent to force
the democratic way

on tribal cultures
that existed

before we were even
a country

they prey
on little boys

feeding them
dreams

of honor
of valor
of heroism

when they
are really

selling them
down the river
