Blue Goddess Revealed

In a dream
there were many waters
that floated in a sapphire
her eyes of mortality
the splinter of the gods
ways everlasting
black diamonds licking walls
under the skin of pythons
plummeting from mortalless heights
hounded bowel-fed earths
falling away into nocturnal retreat

In the solstice between the silences
blue fog held up tall castles
emerald dragons whirlpooled
about the moats
her brilliant shine
out of the stones
be the sight of soothsayers
and of great mothers
levitating their leviathans
armour they raise for
the knights of incense
clouds tawny
sweet feeding
substance to dark spaces
flagfall fill
she scatters them beyond....
