Bad Dreams
Late at night I can feel the emptiness
Close my eyes for a second there it is
Slowly killing me on the inside
It's everywhere I can't hide
I'm running from something invisible
I tried to kill it bit it's invincible
When it grasps me it's hard to breath
My silent screams are worse than the bad dreams

TBH.. that's a wonderful start and great first write.
I liked how how much emotion you manage to garner in such a short piece.
Also kudos on the rhyme scheme running through this... it suits the topic perfectly.
