Rainstorm (NaPoWriMo 2022 #6)
Pounding beat of fists
ongoing onto rooftops,
drumming down drops,
slamming downwards,
with force and fury
shouting out impacts
as a chorus of collisions,
reiterated
over and over
repeating
the drone of thuds
drowning out
everything else,
except
the accompanying
wind,
roaring as companion
buffeting sideways,
all eager to end
the noisome act
of orgasmic nature
and finish,
leaving only cathartic silence
and water.

Well you certainly know how to make a storm with only a teacup! While the rest of us have to flood the page to match your quality with some quantity!
