Sisyphean Mind Freak
Wombed into Sisyphean dilemma
Calamity of humanity in gamma
Condemned to a world governed by
Human structures corrupted by
Power over others in an elaborate
Game infiltrating a private
World with instituted lattices
Unfurled into agenda driven places
Like every day as a stone
Over well worn upward paths we were shown
Then one day I studied the surface
Stain of sweated blood seeing a trace
Of lexiconic shape shifting into a scape
Philologically conveying to me a great escape
Composed in chiseled alphabets
Rosed around thorns opening outlets
Wombed into cracked clouds of light
Burning into my eyes a design of sight
Vision of a new world to make my home
Envisioned as stone becoming a poem to roam.

Well, this was a great way to start the day! You've got me thinking about dear Sisyphus, and the (lack of?) meaning of life, and poetry as escape... and that is bound to reveal a poem by the end of the day. Thank you for tickling my brain... I'm off now to go push stones up a hill...

Dear CO,
While Sisyphus always provides me with the representation of futility I bend my thoughts to allow that while my struggle is real it will end in a learned positive somehow. Some days are easier than others to believe this but…on all days I can say without hesitation you are smashing it awesomely in NaPo!! Your writes continue to be wonderful and thought provoking. H🌷
