Dandelion
So, it’s me against the world,
They want me gone, but I refuse to go.
My yellow petals shine like gold,
Though you shout ‘poison’.
Always you’ll tell me off.
Everything about me,
Is never enough.
But what I understand,
My dear human being,
Is you don’t:
See my beauty outside your lines,
Admit that you’re wrong from time to time.
You want to be the captain in control,
But for a minute, can’t you be calm?
This is for the best when,
I say you could be wrong.
A weed is all you think,
In anything you don’t know.
All that I am asking,
Could you make room for one,
In your big heart for me?
A little creature like me?
Together we can grow~

Okay, it’s just me and you,
Our eyes buzzing with battle stares ><
This fight won’t go anywhere,
I’ll only grow back if you spray.
