[NaPoWriMo 2022] Blessed
I am blessed and I thank God
For blessing me with this life
I enjoy today
I look back to the past and realized How lucky I am to be alive and living
At this moment in time
Despite what I've been through
Life is still the MOST precious of all gifts
No matter how hard and difficult it seemed
There's always a way out of all problems
If I do not allow circumstances
To weaken my resolve
For with life there is hope
That will bloom in my heart
When I feel defeated and lost
For blessing me with this life

2021 was the most trying year for me and my family. And I'm grateful that we survived from Covid-19 despite both of us having comorbidities and unvaccinated at the time.

Just coming back to read all the NaPo poems properly. This was an astonishing start. And yes, being alive is a gift every day. We can overcome anything!
