little feelings surface inside
I can't lie it feels good to know them
each one delicate in their presentation
notes of pain with hints of joy

the blue sky is beautiful today
I am connected to the air and I soar
tender emotions and everything is green
beauty is in spite of everything

the trees stand so tall
I should too, back straight full of determination
nature sings in tune with the earth herself
it turns in elegance, in chaos
still, in grace she is

I am but one creature in the vastness
why should I complain?
