Love in middle ages

I don't think I can be
the man for the job anymore,
I am ever everyone's
emotional anchor,
a wealth of counselling experience for free
I am crucially expected
to carry my own health
ignoring the unwilling for anyone else
to carry theirs
and I'm done.
I will
continue to support you looking after yourself,
I will
continue to enable you to feel well,
to love your daughter.
I will
continue to love you
but I need
someone to look after me
with the skills
because I've dedicated my time
and talents
and now I'm too tired
and I want to live.
She needs me to live,
you've never come second before,
I've never come first
