do we have
enough time
to love?
in the morning
not much time
together
we are busy
breakfast
eating quickly
thinking
about other things
holding
newspaper that hides
the person we love
in the evening
coming home
stressed
tired
dinner
eating quickly
thinking
about other things
holding
fatigue that hides
the person we love
in our busy lives
do we insure
a little time to love
why do we
prioritize
work over people?
our happiness
our lives
are within
we can
begin a revolution
in our way of living
we
can
choose
to make love
top
priority

Dear KP,
A reflection of priorities well written. Made me think how exhaustion, frustration, chaotic schedules weren’t even a consideration prior to marriage, the door opened and passion was knocking. Really appreciated this poem and its redirection of what’s important. H🌷
