Foundation

It starts with a simple Hi the first foundation stone is laid, we lay more of our base, with each interaction that is made

We start off with simple pleasantries, noting personal or too deep, slowly in our messeges, emotions start to creep

We share little snippets, of things from within our past, not divulging to much, not sure how long our chats might last

Slowly we begin to chat, it becomes a great part of my day, soon we share some secrets, the ones we thought we'd never say

We share our inner fears, we share our hope and goals, we've gone from being strangers, to friends who bare their souls

Everything from fears to fantasies, we learn what makes us tick, now we've built a foundation, we build our friendship brick by brick

Slowly we build our shelter, we're nearly at the end, it's great to have a safe place and to have made a loyal friend

So when you meet a stranger, they may live in another nation, take time to get know them and lay down a strong foundation
