I Won't Be Long Now

It won't be long now ,
shall I burn or be interred ,
when out of life I bow  ,
will my cost be worth
the cross , the dearth ,
It's a miracle how ,
I came this far
from the flames of a star ,
to a name on a grave
from gone days in afar .

I remember hearing tyre's screech
they sounded like , electronic horses
life in a fleeting , screaming glimpse
and all of the paths
and diverted courses ,
good times , the past
and the castled beach ,
if only I could blast
back through a wormhole vortex ,
fading hands I need to reach
grasping the strands of my
memory , precious .

I now , amble helpless
I'm scranbled , and a right mess
I wouldn't listen , I just guessed
the best I'm missing , I now address
the end is kissing , my lips of zest
and all my missions
they failed to test .
