The Guillotine

One of my flaws
Is in never talking about my accolades
To me there's always a next
So I let the past be

Still though for some odd reason
When you don't talk about what you've done
People look down on you
It's as if respect is for sale now

What's even funnier is the switch up
When they realize who you are
By then it's too late
That first impression is forever

Looking down on people
is a dangerous game
Because for all you know
Being high on a platform
And looking down
Could actually mean that your head
Is about to get chopped
By a Guillotine
