Image for the poem float

float

enters seduction, seducing filthiness
petting the petty little affliction, called wealth
hunting shadows, it's grim

a pornographic noose around your neck
it's all too transparent,
the ugliness of it all

I question reality it never liked me anyway
bedlam presses on the cranium awaiting escape
Jack the Ripper in a straight jacket picture that

hey you're cute, I hear from far off
somewhere, on the night air lingers a scream about to be freed

curl your toes and tiptoe with the giant death
monumental debt your soul, your check's rubber
trust in what's shiny, it just might be heavy enough

the abyss is waiting to see who floats
