what went wrong
friend or foe
friend or foe
head up or to toe
winter stings,
the wheat,
waving her once known strength
barren now as far as one may see
why
oh why did it have to be
like this
torn with the false
red do remiss
gods of their sins
withered away,
white flag, it waves
at the helm
open arms,
bruised, blue, bare
stung from the stem
no longer brave
no where to keep warm
death approaches
were dying
to know what went wrong
only with them
scars sewn at the hem
rolled up
marching in mud
blaming others for what
we truly have done
oh where is the sun
oh where is the sun
friend or foe
head up or to toe
winter stings,
the wheat,
waving her once known strength
barren now as far as one may see
why
oh why did it have to be
like this
torn with the false
red do remiss
gods of their sins
withered away,
white flag, it waves
at the helm
open arms,
bruised, blue, bare
stung from the stem
no longer brave
no where to keep warm
death approaches
were dying
to know what went wrong
only with them
scars sewn at the hem
rolled up
marching in mud
blaming others for what
we truly have done
oh where is the sun
oh where is the sun
