Down the unpaved path~

Years went by while I cascaded through the unknown.

Faking it to make it or to just feel that part of society that was "supposed to be".

Numb yet smiling,  steps were taken daily and years went by.  The anger faded into regret and the love faded into vacant dreams.

Just then, counting down the days of existence with clouded eyes, heart and soul the sun shined through.  Moving the grey aside and showing me a light within that dropped me to my knees.

By giving away my power so many times I simply forgot who I was...who "I am".

Shaking off the years of pain and sorrow allowed the vision to become clearer, for dreams to become a reality.

So graced by the gift in front of me I move down that unpaved path.  A path taking me into history.  Previous families in spirit greeted me and were willing to share their stories as I entered into my dream space with feet fastened to the ground.

A little cabin in the woods. Away from human eyes, peoples noise and the crazy of this world.

A place of peace where one couple landed to spend their lives next to a cranberry bog and live in harsh conditions of the North Country by the labor of their hands.
There's a payoff that happens that no one can understand until it happens to them.  Sensations rise.

When did I fall in love?  The moment my eyes laid upon it.  As I moved closer the land began to speak to me, as the wind moving through the forest called my name.

Opening the front door I laughed when I saw the the door bell was off an old bike. Of course I rang it and smiled as more memories of their life moved through me.

Sitting on the old picnic table the sun beat softly over my face and I felt like magic was all around me.  Opening my eyes I notice dragonflies have used me as their landing post.
The uniqueness of this moment made me feel so alive, like the vibration of the Universe was pulsing through every cell.

This is when I knew I was home.  This made sense of years of hardship. Lies and sorrow fled.

This place was waiting for me all along.  To arrive with a tender spirit, a mind clear of false stories, a heart willing to reopen and love again.  This place, with it's ghostly inhabitants guided me to the rainbow within.

I am living my best life.  I'm breathing for this moment and no other, and I am rooted in the pulse of the Earth and raise my soul to the pulse of the Universe.

I am home...xoxo
