Too Old To Rock

(tell me where is the sanity)

one two
buckle your foo
fighters riding out the storm

(people what have you done)

it’s alright
to fight
on saturday night

(give my love to rose)

there’s a brand new
sky to hang
stars on

(i’d love to change the world)

walk on sunshine
despite stormy weather
step lightly ironman

across the universe
wave at major thom
rising like lazarus

(oooh what a lucky man)

frolicking with
burning rocket man
high as a kite

(has he lost his mind)

celebrating black
sabbaths in fields of iron
butterflies walking on rainbows

(please take my hand)

bluebirds fly and blackbirds
sing in the deep purple
dead of night

(i leave it up to you)

hand in hand sunshine
superman dressed in white satin
cute in braces and boots

(we’ll do it in style)

a taste of porcupine
pie light streaming
like butterscotch

(lean on him gently)

jumpin’ jack
flash! bang!
caught a grenade

(there’s a sun show every second)

jumped in front
of the peace train
fell on his blade

(too young to die)

released to
shallow graves
so we can feel the rain

see me
feel me
hear me

(look up here i’m in heaven)

they play our
favorite song
all night long

when this
kiss is over
we’ll start again

rainy day people seem to know
trouble’s melting
like lemon drops

(sticking to all my senses)

it’s time to leave
if you dare
planet earth is blues…
