Unrequited, Unrelenting.

Perhaps he was not meant for you,
But you were meant for him.
Every smile, every laugh, left him dangling over the edge.
He would certainly fall into the abyss that was his love for you
He’d drown beneath the waves of heartbreak he’d consumed
But oh, what a beautiful death that would be
To be surrounded in all that was you
To close his eyes, knowing you were his last memory
Others could only envy
His love so pure, so unrelenting.
You. You. You.
He’d have only you, love only you, even at the price of his own demise.
