Time Flows

Antecedents. Past events do impact upon free will, but we do have choice. We can choose our thoughts, which result from what we perceive. We can choose our emotions, which are how we perceive. When we perceive something, emotion occurs before thought of it, even if only by multiples of nanoseconds. We are mediums of experience. The question of free will is a never ending nesting doll of chicken or egg. It matters not in the present. What counts is how we perceive. That, more than anything else, determines how we will experience our ever divergent futures. And yes, in the long run    
    
Jane, Peter, Mummy and Daddy are returning from a holiday.    
  
"Look", says Daddy, "there is our galaxy, the Milky way".    
   
"When will we be there", asks Peter.    
   
"In about 2.5 million years", says Daddy.    
   
"Perhaps I should have made more sandwiches", says Mummy.    
   
"We are stardust", says Jane.
