Wounded Weather

When you climbed that
Windy cold mountain
Shoved me down forgotten
Hoping I’d shatter
Seeping dried rain barely
There for your fountain
From the unnoticed crack
That didn’t matter

Your dried brittle
Left over stems
With black thorns
Claws of venom horns
Trying to pierce
With skill my skin
Puncture my
Ultrastructure

Got a heart filled
With sun and thunder
Surrounded by a glass
Gem vase suitcase
Ready to change course
Breeze towards wonder
Lessons of my shining
Storm cloud of color

Playing with ease
Rainbow piano keys
Harmonizing for the
Silver lining
Thread of bright vining
Lifting loves heavy rubble
Off my pressured chest
In time the forecast shall pass

Changing seasons like
Wounded Weather

Author's Note
listening to
Dead Sara - song Face to Face

My skin literally levitated listening to this. It was so raw and honest.
Had to write about the ending of relationships and figuring out who you are.
Totally blew my mind away!!
