Wishing For Your Dreams
Your steady breathing fills the room
like soft summer breezes across my chest.
Your face is that of a child resting in innocence.
Are your dreams as pure as your kind soul? Are they young and filled with the newness of life?
Tonight you took in my brokenness and saved my dying soul before drifting into a peaceful sleep. I lie awake, feeling abandoned and wishing for your dreams.
