OLD MAN

OLD MAN

It's a fantasy, the thing I seek
A young lady so fair and meek
My minds been set without a break
My whole life long give or take

Disrespect and prejudice run so high
Old mans desire doth to him belie
Destructive fury, his heart doth churn
These lofty wants, within him burn

That's all I want, this sinful thing
To love to hold, new life to bring
She'd never have it, and never will
This old mans lust, will never thrill

Why cant he see it, how it should be?
Its not for real, just fantasy
You troubled man, for all thy days
To beauty and youth, avert thy gaze

You and you alone, it always will be
Old man you've lost, shun fantasy
Time to be wise, make knowledge thy bride Knowledge and wisdom, thy only pride

And in the end when you shall die
Only God and Satan will you hear cry

Just a realization of my apparent inability to charm the young women like I used to be able to do in my youth.
