The Great Men In My Life.
There are only three men in this world, that without a shadow of a doubt I can honestly say I love, respect, and cherish.
1. Robert Windol Gillian
(My grandfather)
He has guided me through my childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood in a way that no one else in my life knew enough to or cared enough to bother. He has taught me countless practical skills and given lessons that will forever help in life. We are very different though. We butt heads and have intellectual debates that we absolutely love because it shows just how bull-headed and passionate we both are in our values. I love my grand-daddy, he's tough, smart, intellectual, and old school all the way.
2. Marshall Coffman
(My best friend)
Marshall has been a rock for me through some pretty hard times. I find comfort in knowing that I can tell him absolutely anything and he will never pass judgment. He supports and respects the way I feel whole heartedly and does what he can to cheer me up. Plus he's a hilariously practical nerd that cracks me up. I love my friend, he's goofy, understanding, stylish, smart and funny.
3. William Andrew Reppenhagen)
(My step-father)
Calling Andy my stepfather feels unjust. He was there to be a father to me when my biological father wasn't man enough to. He didn't always set the best example but he taught me not to fear anyone other than himself, mom, and god. When life pushed me down, he'd shine a light on how much harder life could have pushed making me appreciate life even more. We both have a low tolerance for bullshit and both have a bit of a wild hair up our asses. I love my dad he's crazy, passionate, strong, and not afraid of anyone.
