Cowboy Style
Around the squared table
Lunch trays
Abound - All around.
The harshest hardest
Stare
Directed to
My
Sphere… But why?
I didn’t have time to care
Rising fast out of
Nowhere
Moving instinctive
Even though
My muscles were atrophied
From the
Aforementioned unspeakable.
The next sight
Are guards carrying
A seizure rapt – Nose erupted chap
Out
In
Style
Cowboy Style.
Author's Note
From Project Carceral Archipelago.
This is about an altercation
that resulted in me visiting solitary confinement...
A place of great psychological tribulation...
Some say.
I ended up staying there for 9 months.
Although I was defending myself,
I was charged with a Felony for this altercation,
because of the nature of the injuries sustained by this person,
which was dismissed when they gave me a a high term sentence.
It's not cool to hurt people... And I am not proud to have done so.
I think of the look of him being picked up off
the ground, bloody and in seizures.
Carried like human waste.
I felt the need to incorporate this
in order to transition to my time in solitary confinement...

Thank you Lil.
I am sort of looking to
structure this work into 100 pieces, approximately.
Been pondering this:
"It leaves the domain of more or less everyday perception and enters that of abstract consciousness." - Foucault
I want to articulate the bureaucratic driven
sociological process of desocialization.
From a psychological stand point, and
the theoretical vs the actual.
How people react to structures and systems,
meant to isolate and diffuse.
The company culture, if you will...
Or will to company culture.
How the new model evolved from
public executions to "seals of secrecy".
How such secrecy opens windows to
human cruelty and depravity.
This maze and the kind of of alterations
and modifications that come about.
Tis tricky.
I am thinking the usage of imagery,
as well as slight commentary, may facilitate
the right amount of provocation and revelation.
but ultimately...
As you know... It's just... The write.

Wow.... what an epic share..... I'm still processing this one.... THIS (including your author's note) is where the boldness of open blatant and stark humanity comes to be perfectly written on the page.....I am in a bit of awe.
A keeper for the project, undoubtedly.
Excellent work, my friend 🙏🏻
(sending out hugs for all those days you spent without)

Thank you B.
Sort of dialing into the macro perspective
of this Project...
And getting the right frequencies.
Your input is tremendously valued.
I... want every aspect of this mosaic
to have pertinence.
To filter through the over arcing theme.
My initial thought was that
it should be chronological...
As all process relies on chronology.
Or at least the artificial mundane
bureaucratic ones...
Oh... Thank you for the hugs.
I... Appreciate.
I was hesitant to place myself
into the thing...
But I thought first person POV
could be effective, in this instance.
I am thinking of switching to the present tense.

hello dearest Cipher I often wonder how I would fair in a place like that
would I be a coward and backdown or would they bring the crazy out of me
I think the latter and I would do time in isolation
the strange thing is I don't even have to raise a fist to someone
strange things happen to people who do me wrong like heart attacks and shitting blood...
I don't like it but it is...
great write...

I think you would do well,
anywhere you were ever to go, in any capacity.
:)))
You have an inner brilliance
that manifests in such a beautiful variety of ways.
What I think this also illustrates,
is that violence comes into play, so early in the process...
And only increases in frequency
and potency.
And how that is a key point of the construct
or structure... Violence.
The things that enter realms of the unseen.
I dont want to use violence for violence's sake,
but it speaks to the idea that
People are... tortured.
It's like... They proclaim "justice"...
Like...
Okay... Someone broke your bullshit
politically motivated law.
(I mean look at these fucks who once
condemned cannabis users/merchants...
and wrote laws stating as such... and made
money on prison stocks... and now...
write laws to push everyone out of the
emerging industry whilst they monopolize...)
but yeah... someone broke your bullshit
law... okay... you say they need to
go through this process of blind justice...
Okay...
They get some bullshit judgement,
that tends to stray way outside the bullshit laws...
and they know what they do!
I mean... I will just give them credit
for going to school and learning the things
one might learn if they start to open their eyes.
So I will give them credit for knowing...
For being willful... for what they call "intent".
Okay...
So they tell you based on this law that
you have broken... and our blind process...
You will be exiled for whatever.
That seems cut and dried...
but then... the modes of torture,
inbuilt into the system...
That they also know about.
and get a good laugh out of,
as they cash their checks, in a variety of ways.
but yes...
In terms of the violence.
I think what is striking,
is that this piece is based on the first
day of such a journey, which begins on the county level...
and it only gets way more radical.
thats fucking crazy.
and you expect these people
to return to society someday.
(I dont... My feelings really are mostly dead...
but...
In consideration of this project,
it reawakens different thoughts.)
Thank you Crimsin.
Much appreciated.
