Spring Clean

Rub and rub over and over
the stains on the aluminum window sill
haven't been cleaned for a year.

The black marks stuck so firmly
and seems no way to remove them
from the silver surface.

Once I thought they were gone
they came out again when they dried
they seemed stronger than I could imagine

Should I give it up and leave them there
pretending there are no bothers to my life
then I could still proclaim that
"Hey, my life is pure! Don't you see it!"

Unfortunately, that would not gonna happen
A voice told me
"Are you going to be a coward or a warrior?"

In the end, I twisted my wrists
by cleaning the stains for 5 hours

The consequence was just passable
The marks are light gray
but they won't be removed completely

The lesson I have learned
Once something gets stained
it won't be once again
STAINLESS
