Nighttime Queen
Would you be my Goddess, would you be my Queen, would you let me worship you, even if it's only in a dream
May I kneel before you, with my head bowed to the floor, I hope you like the poetry about the Goddess I adore
Waiting for you to raise my chin, so I can take my chance, to look into the eyes of heaven, all captured in a glance
Then you take me by the hand, you rest it on your skin, my heart starts to pound real hard, whilst my mind runs off to sin
To share a night with my Goddess, would be like a dream come true, just a night with her, I pray you know its you
To steal a single kiss from you, is my only goal, I'd keep the memory deep inside, you'd live inside my soul
To me you are a Goddess, a vision caught within a dream, a beauty who is beyond compare, you are my nighttime Queen

Ohhh the tender adoration!!! Your beautifully rhymed sentiments make for smiles and a lovely amount of simple goodness that permeates outwards into the universe —eliciting warmth, love and a refreshing sense of hopefulness...Something I feel like we all need a little more of, dear poet.
