Reflection
My eyes tell a story that my lips conceal.
I wish you could hibernate in my subconscious and infiltrate what's real.
Trauma has taught me to be resilient, and disappointments encouraged me to build walls.
Passion has challenged me to step out on faith, and life forced me to evolve.
But am I indeed evolving? Have I changed?
I look myself in the mirror, And I recognize the indiscernible pain.
My essence vanished as a young girl, and it vacated with uninvited penetration.
I've never experienced the meaning of love, just sexual sensations.
I become whoever you need me to be and further from who my creator designed.
I pray that this toxic hold releases its grip and returns me to my true divine.
