A Gang Leader's Alliance

“We need to ask you a few questions Andy.” Dawson hissed.
“About fucking what? You already killed my leaders. What more do you want from me?”
“You let it slip to Giles that your involved with the vipers…is this true?”
“I was before I got involved with the East Side Gang. The vipers would give anything for me to have a bullet in my head man.”
“Lola got jumped earlier by a group of vipers. Now Lola is Giles girlfriend or fuck buddy I’m not entirely sure except that Giles likes sleeping with her. If you know anything about the vipers, you need to tell me right now. You can trust me man…you can’t trust Giles.”
“He’s right Andy. You can trust Dawson. Tell him what you know about the vipers and you might make it out of here alive.” Travis added.
“How do I know I can trust you punks?”
“I’ll make you deal Andy. Tell me what you know about the vipers and I will clean that gunshot wound so the infection will go down. I’m sure that hurts like a bitch right now. Andy, I don’t want you to end up dead like your leaders did. I want you to be able to walk out of here with your life.”
“We both don’t want you to die. You can trust us Andy.”
“I have kids. My wife and I just had a set of twins about nearly five months ago. I’d like to see my babies again someday. I’m sure Hailey is worried sick about me or thinks I’m already dead.” Andy whispered.
“Tell us what you know about the vipers Andy and I’ll make sure that you see your family again. Travis go get the first aid kit but, make sure no one sees you bring it in here or Giles will be breathing down our backs.” Dawson explained.
Travis nodded as he left the room. Andy looked at him and nodded. Dawson helped him over to the chair that was in the middle of the room and got hm seated.
“I wasn’t part of the vipers long. They are ruthless and cruel. Their leader’s name is Pablo Nunez. Pablo is into the human trafficking trade and drug sales. I’m not that kind of man. I respect women. My wife Hailey…I saved her from Pablo. Within a month of being with the vipers, I was sick of the miss treatment and the ruthlessness. I needed away out. My cousin Fran told me I could have a place in his gang, and I jumped for it. I left the vipers and went to the East Side Snakes as fast as I could. All I can say is your friend Lola is lucky to still have her life. Vipers don’t let snitches live normally.”
“Where is the vipers headquarters located?”
“On the west side of town there is a trailer park that looks like more of a junk yard. That’s where they all live and all the sales are done.”
“You said you saved your wife from Pablo…is she safe without you at home?”
“Yeah, we live with my Brothers and they will take care of her and our kids.”
“Good. I don’t want Hailey and your babies in danger. Is there a certain person who’s in charge of disciplining snitches?”
“When I was with them, the guy’s name was Raymond and he had three friends who would help. They were Diageo, Ortiz, and Devin. They hangout at the bowling alley bar on the west side of town. Only in the bar part not the bowling alley itself. If you go after them, know they are good fighters. They are strong and they are quick. You have to be on your toes with them.”
“Is there anything else you can tell us about the vipers?”
“Nothing I can think of Dawson. I don’t know much about them but enough to tell you they are a dangerous crowd to mess with. I have a brand on my back from betraying them man. I was told never to come around them again or I’d lose my life.”
Dawson nodded as Travis came back in the room. This Andy didn’t seem like a bad person. Just a guy that was in the wrong place as the wrong time. Travis watched as Dawson dug in the kit for the rubbing alcohol. It was the only thing he knew would completely clean out the wound.
“This is gonna hurt like a bitch isn’t it?” Andy grumbled.
“Unfortunately, yes, but it will be better than the bad infection that’s starting.” Travis answered.
“You boys seem a little young to be part of a gang like this. How did you boys get involved with it?”
“It was my fault. We were told we would make money and I dragged Dawson into it with me. Now we wish we could get the hell out of it. Seemed cool a year ago. I lost my mom in a car accident when I was seven and I was sent to live with my grandparents. If my Grandpa knew that I was involved in this, he would beat me with his cane. It would break their hearts for damned sure.” Travis whispered.
“My mom is a marine and for awhile after my dad was killed, we were struggling to get by. Mom was working at the base but, then had two part time jobs on top of that so I joined to make money. That way I didn’t have to take my moms money. My dad was a cop, and he spent his life trying to get drug dealers and gang bangers of the streets…and now His only son is one of them.” Dawson said before he poured the alcohol on the wound.
Andy howled out in agony as the wound fizzed from the infection. Travis and Dawson both cringed knowing how bad that had to feel. Once the wound stopped fizzing Dawson took a gauze pad and wiped away the liquid that remained in the wound.
“Fuck! That hurt like hell.” Andy hissed.
“Sorry man. I could have given you a little heads up that was coming.”
“It’s alright, god damn that woke my ass up. Listen you two, you both sound like you have people who love you. If there is any way that you can leave this gang behind. Do it. You don’t want to spend your life in a gang. It consumes you and eventually you’re going to regret everything about it. I’m thirty and I’ve been part of gangs since I was seventeen. It’s not a good life.”
“The only way out of the Tigre Negro gang is to die. Otherwise, we would have split a long time ago.”
“Find yourselves a distraction, that will help you guys get your mind of the gang.”
“It doesn’t work Andy. I have a girlfriend Parker and she has four-month-old baby. Last Night Giles showed up at my house questioning me about her. It’s not safe to have distractions either.” Dawson explained.
“Parker? Is her last name Reynolds?”
Travis and Dawson looked at each other before they looked at Andy. How the fuck does he know Parker?
“Yes, how do you know her?”
“She was part of Hailey and I’s prenatal classes. Sweet girl but, young my guess was fifteen. Didn’t have a guy with her just her stepdad who seemed to be a prick.”
“Your right, her stepdad and her mom treated her like shit that’s why she’s living with me now.”
      “Are you her daughter’s dad?”
“No, but someone very close to me is her baby’s dad. I’m trying to get him arrested for what he did to Parker.”
“I had a feeling that Parker unwillingly had sex. She just sent off a vibe. All she said was that she didn’t know who the man was. I’m sorry to hear that I was right.”
“Thank you, Andy. Listen we need to go talk to Giles about what you just told us. You better not say anything about Parker or what we were just talking about to anyone. Got it?” Dawson stated.
“You can trust me man. I won’t say a word to anyone. I hope Lola is okay.” Andy whispered.
