Small light in a dark space

Small light in a dark space

When darkness has surrounded you, it don't have to be the night, it may be an emotion, this is when you see a light

It may seem so far away, the glimmering speck of light, but you know it is your only hope, its time for you to fight

Through the heavy blackness you may stumble, trip and fall, it's like every turning closed off, you in a huge long hall

Or a labyrinth of despair lost amongst it's twists and turns, which route to take to the light, is the only thing you yearn

No compass, no map, but you can see that guiding light, so gather up your inner strength and do what you know is right

Keep heading to that smallest glimmer of hope, a beacon of love and light, it may seem so far away, but push on it's still in sight

Finally you'll get there, the small light becomes the Sun, your life seems so much lighter now, this battle has been won

So when you feel surrounded by only darkness, cold and fear, compose yourself and look around the light is somewhere near
