The long White dress
A crazy romance piece, not sure what sparked it but hey I write what I feel
The long White dress
Throw away that long White dress, it reminds me of that day, the day you married someone else and he took my love away
I watched walk right up the Isle, my heart beat out my chest, I wanted to grab you and run away, it was the toughest test
It was such a pain in my heart, such a cruel twist of fate, I was watching the love of my life, getting married to my mate
Then I had to hand him the ring, the one I didn't want you to wear, I could feel tears on my cheek, I wished I wasn't there
I watched him be cruel to you, it really broke my heart, then one day you called me to say, you were both apart
You were free and I could tell you all the secrets I kept inside, when I told you how I felt, I wondered why you cried
Turned out you felt the same, we shared a secret love, now we were free to be together, I praised the Lord above
So throw away that long white dress, let me buy you one that's new, let me take you back to church, I want to marry you
